Well, I suppose it is quite hard to forget about something like that, especially if you treat first impressions to the extreme, so Metis has a right to stand up for his own opinion of Josh.
Still, I feel bad for Josh, he's trying so hard to reach some sort of understanding. : < Ah~ it's like tragedy in the making.

You know, if you read the whole chapter over again metis seems a lot more justified than if you just read the pages one page on the days of the updates.

I hope this is going where I think it is.
But ye know what. I personally think Josh was justified in punching Metis in the beginning. Although it isn't particularly the route I would have taken, me being not quite as tall or handsome as Josh. Metis should have not been grinning and being TEEHEE knowing Josh was upset! He should have been minding his own business, but he wasn't. And Josh was upset as it was, he didn't need someone going :DDDD YOU JUST GOT BROKENED UPED WITH..ED.
Thennn againnnn.. Josh and his girlfriend kind of made their breakup public..making it peoples business. BUT THEN AGAINN IT STILL ISNT PEOPLES BUSINESSSS...Then aagggggggggggaiiinn...sometimes smiles helpp.. then againnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ..ehaghurghf
Still, I think I know why Metis is making such a fuss over being punched by Josh and Josh refusing not to acknowledge it til now. But I COULD BE WRONG. I will wait and see.

I think its odd that so many people think May is overreacting. Let us be reminded of what happened before. Josh punched the guy square in the jaw. Who here has been punched? Anyone? I have. It tends to make you very vengeful and PISSED OFF! What May did and is doing is completely justified. Shrugging off getting slugged, isnt easy, and it probably takes a person with no backbone. I think the reason I'm on Josh's side so much is cause he really does look sorry that he punched Metis. :c I know that hurting or being mean to other people really takes a lot out of you, unless you're a big evil monster which Josh clearly isn't. And when you're not usually accustomed to hurting people, it's ten times harder to say sorry, which is why I'm not surprised that he put it off for so long.
Josh's screw-up/flawthing is endearing to me. And even though it was all halfly sorta his fault (he needs a break, man, break-ups are hard to deal with too!), I can't help but be frowning at Metis for unleashing so much punishment on him when he's already suffering.
I figured that a witty kind of guy who always gets in trouble would know how to handle himself better than this and see when someone is sorry, so hopefully the reason why Metis is going silly is because HE'S MADLY IN LOVE, MADLY IN LOVE, MAD MAD MAD FOR LOVE.
And uhh.. I feel silly for even asking this so late in the game but...
what exactly is a sucker-punch? :< It's not just a punch?
