I put up an EXTRA section, as well, as an FAQ, even though some questions have never actually been asked.
Actually, the FAQ has been there for a while now.

Metis are a race of people. I guess there isn't really a reason why you couldn't use it as a name then....its just the first thing that comes to mind when i see the word i think of Native crossed with french... lol
I'm not fully sure about it though, i was just wondering if you did lol.

The FAQ actually says how I came up with it... the name, I mean.

It doesn't really matter anyways lol.
No apologies, i'm not metis or anything.
I don't really care, it was just a question for curiosity lol.
The name fits your character to well to worry about that now lol.
